Goal 3: Post High School Options – What careers, jobs, vocations related to my

interests are out there? – What post high school training or schooling

will I need? – Financial assistance– Discuss options with Academy Advisors and

visit the Career Center

Goal 4: Personal ConnectionsCreate a sense of belonging to the school

community through:-Academy activities.-Regular and repeated opportunities to meet with

faculty as teacher, advisor, mentor.

Senior Projects• The graduation cord means you’ve

accomplished something significant• Juniors should have a booklet NOW• Early proposals should be completed in

May or October.

Advisory Period• This period is meant to help you prepare

to complete a senior project in an area that interests you.

• You will also be able to connect with other students who have similar interests.

• Attendance is mandatory and participation in the class can earn you high school credit.

Changing your MajorChanging your major may be necessary as your college and career goals

change. Discuss your plans with your current advisor or counselor, then complete ALL of the following steps:

• Get a Major Change Request Form from your CURRENT Advisor.• Fill out the form and have your CURRENT Advisor sign it.• Take the form to your NEW advisor and have them sign the form.• Deliver the form to the Registrar’s Office.• Wait for administrative approval. When your request has been

approved, you will see the advisor change on Skyward.

You may only change your major between now and October 1.Then only at the quarter break.
