Most Wonderful Monday First Grade Families! We hope you enjoyed this beautiful weekend. We’ve been long overdue for an entire weekend of sunshine! With a teacher workday on Friday, we have a short week ahead. Today starts FDS’s Teacher Appreciation Week. Please see Class Dojo for the week’s events. Last week, I sent out the Sign-Up Genius for the End of Year assessment scheduling. Please be sure to choose a time that works best for you and your scholar. Scholars will have both an ELA and Math assessment. Friendly reminder, scholars were assigned their last project of the year. Their Earth Day project was assigned last Thursday and is due by Friday, May 7th. Parents are asked to take pictures of the posters, send to Mrs. Ivory or Mr. Cunningham, and have scholars ready to present. The projects will be turned in during the EOY assessments. The assignment was posted on Class Dojo and handed out at the International Festival. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued partnership and support! Please continue to contact us with any questions and or concerns. Have a great week! ~Mrs. Ivory and Mr. Cunningham
