CLASSES IX & X

Dear Parents,

Greetings from DPS MIS!

The month of November was packed with many curricular and

extracurricular activities. Rendezvous, one of the most awaited

events, created a festive mood in the entire school. The Weekly

Tests and the activities of cultural and sports Rendezvous formed

a busy schedule for the students. Each and every day was brimmed

with a lot of enthusiasm and energy that the month has gone by so

quickly, leaving remarkable memories.

ACADEMIC CORNER

The Second cycle of Weekly Tests were conducted in the month of November for the students of IX and X.

The revised syllabus for the Revision Exams for class IX is uploaded on the website.

Pre-board I & II portions for class X are uploaded on the website.

ACTIVITY CORNER

The Science Club of DPS Modern Indian School initiated a health awareness session on the topic 'First Aid and Stress Management' for the students with an aim to furnish them with necessary information about the first aid and equip the young teens with strategies to manage stress efficiently.

RECITATION COMPETITION

2018 hosted by MES Indian School

on 15th November 2018. DPS –MIS

student Jayeda Aziz (IX-K) bagged

the Third Position in Elocution

competition (Senior Category) and

was awarded with a trophy and an

appreciation certificate.

DPS-MIS won the third prize in

the Chemistry Quiz competition- Scintillation,

organized by Al Khor International School on 1st

November 2018.

DPSMIS students Mishti Ahluwalia VIII-H, Priyal Dhade IX-J, Vaishnavi Chettiar XI-G, Tejaswi Manoj VIII-B, Fahad Ahmad Khan X-B, Shivom Dhamija X-C, Rudra Balwant Bhai Jadav X-I and Jaefar Shameem IX-C were

privileged to attend “The first Doha Forum: Youth Edition” held on 24th November 2018 at Student Center, HBKU Education city, Qatar Foundation aimed to enhance the convincing and critical skills of young people and engage them in discussions on issues that are trending around the world.

Class Assemblies were conduted in the month of November for grade IX and maximum participation of the students were ensured.

SPORTS CORNER

The finals of the Sports Rendezvous for the

classes IX to XII were conducted on 17th

November, Saturday with a noticeable and

appreciable participation from the side of

the students.
