High Resolution 16-bit Absolute Encoder
4-Wire Interface
Encoder feedback is achieved with only 4 wires - two for power and two for data. Making wiring both easy and reliable.
Speed and Reliability
1.875MbPS speed with 8-bit CRC per data packet.
A new 16-bit absolute encoder with 65,536 pulses per revolution is standard on all servo motors. 16-bit high resolution feedback increase motor smoothness and maintain dynamic performance under all speed/load characteristics. High speed 4-wire serial bus transmission with data redundancy check allows fast, accurate and reliable positioning.
High frequency response is key to achieving accurate and fast positioning. During development, the new DYN2 servo drive was tested under harsh instantaneous acceleration/deceleration profiles. The servo drive achieved outstanding 10ms position response. This fast and dynamic point-to-point servo positioning allows the new DYN2 servo drive to perform even in the most demanding applications.
Low voltage initiative with max. +75VDC input allow easy universal application into new or existing designs with DC power supplies. Low voltage is also safer for both user and machine. DC input requires less power draw and increases system efficiency by utilizing common DC bus voltage to minimize energy consumption.

Small Modular Size
Simple and Effective I/O
FEATURES
The new DYN2 servo drive sets an unprecedented package size for it`s class, measuring just 32mm wide, 85mm tall and 75mm deep. Multiple units can be arrayed with just 1mm in-between spacing to achieve efficient modular mounting. Instead of being designed into the system, the new DYN2 servo drive can simply be placed into the system.
To maximize usability and application range, new input and output signals have been added. The I/O signals have been simplified down to key selections, with available custom selections for fast and easy integration. Standard outputs include Servo On Position, Zero Point Index, Servo Alarm and +5VDC supply. Standard inputs include command pulse/analog, Servo Enable, and Drive Reset. No matter the application, the new DYN2 servo drive has the relevant communica-tion to meet requirements.

Easy Set Up and Tuning
High Motor Capacity
PC Interface Flexible Tuning
The new DYN2 servo drive’s 3 gain parameters make tuning simple and flexible.
The new DYN2 servo drive’s highly efficient and reliable control technology allows for highest motor capacity pair than any other servo drive in it’s class. The motor capacity selection reflect industry requirements including high speed or high torque choices, with 5,000rpm top speed and 7.2Nm (1020Oz-in) peak torque.
Servo drive testing and tuning is all done through a simple RS232 or USB connection with a PC and the DMMDRV graphic interface communicates with the servo drive immediately. Tuning is simplified down to just a few parameters to give the user flexibility on servo behaviour. Internal-ly, the servo drive adjusts parameters real time to maximize performance relative to user defined parameters. Each application calls for a different dynamic - the new DYN2 servo drive gives the user maximum control over the machine.
