Conclusions

• Nonmedical pain reliever and OxyContin® use increasing

• Nonmedical OxyContin® use mainly among abusers of other drugs

• OxyContin® and Dilaudid® users more likely to have dependence on or abuse of pain relievers than other nonmedical pain reliever users
