Bethany Adams American Currency Unit Plan Abstract 12/8/15

This unit plan teaches American currency to a 2nd grade class. In this unit plan students

are taught about each US coin and US bill; their names and what they each look like; research on

famous men who are found on US currency; why a classroom economy is important and how to

use one; and how to apply the information taught into real life situations. The assignments

chosen are age and grade appropriate, use a wide range of technology tools, and also use hands

on methods.
