  Abstract Failure of steel components is a very common phenomenon in a power plant. The corrosion of mat eri als causes gre at los s in the ind ust ri al appl ica tio ns, esp eci all y unde r some extreme conditions of corrosive atmosphere and high temperature. Hot corrosion is a serious problem in , gas turbines, internal combustion engines, boilers and industrial waste incinerators.  Coating  provides a way of extending the limit of use of materials at the upper end of their p erformance capabilities by allowing the mechanical properties of substrate materials to be maintained while  protecting them against the wear and corrosion.  Nickelchromium alloys have been used as coatings to deal with oxidation environments at h igh temperature. The NiCr coatings are found to  be very effective in decreasing the corrosion rate of the uncoated !"#H boiler tube steels. $o it is  planed NiCr%&'()'* +owder is applied on the !"#H steel with high velocity oxy fuel %H-F* thermal spray coating process and improves the life of boiler tube steel.

So it is planed NiCr(80/20) Powder is applied on the 347H steel with high velocity oxy fuel (HVOF) thermal spray coating process and improves the life of boiler tube steel.
