Please be advised that you have exhausted your leave accruals for this fiscal year, yet you have continued to be absent without authorized leave. Employee attendance has a direct effect on the ability of Prince George’s County Public Schools to achieve its mission. Employee attendance is critical as it directly affects student achievement, customer service, and employee morale.
In order to remain an employee with Prince George’s County Public Schools, it is necessary for you to return to work immediately on the next duty day after receipt of this letter or submit your letter of resignation. If you continue to be absent from work without authorization, you will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination from employment. This letter constitutes a first warning under Administrative Procedure 4153, Absence without Authorized Leave.
This matter is very serious and it is important you return to work immediately on the next duty day after receipt of this letter in order to be successful in your position or submit your letter of resignation.
