Hello SHBA members,

We had a really great ABPAC DrawDown in August! We surpassed our state goal

and had a full house of people enjoying great food & casino games. Special thanks to

Tommy Cummings for chairing this event & to all of you who participated in this

event!

On Tuesday, September 10, we will go back to Georges 217 for our General

Membership meeting. Our guest speaker will be Secretary of State, John Merrill.

Reservations are required; members' meals will be $15 and guests, $25. Then, on

Tuesday, October 8th, we will have our Associates & SPIKE Appreciation meeting

@ the Stricklin [above Big Bad Breakfast on Court St., Florence]. Special guests will

be our state HBAA president, David Lisenby and health insurance representatives to

discuss health care options for our members. Each member company is allowed 2

complimentary meals for this event; however, reservations are required.

I encourage everyone to support these events with your participation. So, plan to

come & bring anyone that you think might like to join SHBA!
