Wise Global Training was set up when its founders realised that whilst
eLearning was a modern, efficient and cost effective alternative to classroom
based training health and safety training, the quality of what was on offer in the
general market place, left a lot to be desired.
We have invested heavily in developing suites of eLearning training courses
which have had to meet our self imposed high quality standards as well those
of NEBOSH and IOSH. We recognised from the very beginning that much of
what was on offer from other providers was written by trainers with the trainers
needs in mind. We have written our material from the perspective of what you

Who should take this course?
The NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health &
Safety provides the knowledge and understanding that
underpins competent performance as an Occupational Health
and Safety Provider (OHASP).
This core knowledge is transferable between the different
occupational sectors in which OHASPs may work across
industry, commerce and the public sector. There are no
prerequisite entry requirements, though students will find it
helpful to have completed the National General Certificate
first. Students should also be aware that this is a demanding
qualification - approximately equivalent to an honours degree
level - and therefore may find it very difficult if they do not
have this background knowledge and/or the ability and
application to study at this level.

Who should take this course?
The NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health
and Safety provides the knowledge and understanding that
underpins competent performance as an Occupational
Health and Safety Provider (OHASP).
This core knowledge is transferable between the different
occupational sectors in which OHASPs may work across
industry, commerce and the public sector. There are no
prerequisite entry requirements, though students will find it
helpful to have completed the International General
Certificate first. Students should also be aware that this is a
demanding qualification - approximately equivalent to an
honours degree level - and therefore may find it very difficult
if they do not have this background knowledge and/or the
ability and application to study at this level.

equip practitioners with a professional-level qualification to
manage responsibilities in relation to the risks of damage to
the environment posed by work activities.
There are no prerequisite entry requirements for this
qualification, although students will find it helpful to have
already achieved certification in either the NEBOSH
Environmental and/or a General Certificate first as this
greatly improves a students’ potential end-result.
This is a degree level qualification and as such we classify it
as a more demanding course likely to require background
knowledge as a health & safety practitioner and/or the ability

Who should take this course?
This qualification is typically intended for higher level health &
safety managers who have specific responsibilities for the
health & safety both in the workplace and amongst employees.
Taken entirely online through eLearning portal, the Level 5
Diploma is tailored to suit the learner’s skills and knowledge
with assessment made through collection of evidence during
their day-to-day working activities. This course is available
through City & Guilds. Each body makes this course available
to be undertaken in different geographical regions of the world,
please contact us for further information on course availability.
Although this qualification is a Level 5 on the UK National
Qualification Framework (UK NQF) some units are Level 6.
Furthermore, learners should note that basic units no longer
offer automatic GradIOSH
membership; candidates must additionally complete the
‘elective’ unit 6 .
