Midtown extends a very warm welcome to all the speakers, delegates and guests to the 2 day RLI training program. We are privileged to host this reputed program in the city of palaces. We are confident that the program will have long lasting impressions and memories. The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a multi-district, grassroots leadership development program of member districts organized into regional divisions in various parts of the world. RLI is not an official program of Rotary International and is not under its control. RLI seeks to have Rotary Clubs in its member districts identify those Rotarians who appear to have the potential for future club leadership (not necessarily as club presidents) and provide those so identified with a quality education in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills so important in voluntary organizations. Zone Activities include serving for four years on the Promotion Committee for the International Convention Culmination as Zone 31-32 Chair for the International Convention in Chicago. Frank has served on the Rotary Leaderhsip Institute abroad as its Vice Chairman for two years and has taught faculty as far away as India and Nepal. Frank has also served as DGE co-ordinator at two Zone Institutes and was General Program Chair in 2004. Rtn. Frank has also represented the President of Rotary International at three district conferences and been a key note speaker at two district conferences in India. Rtn. Frank and his wife Priscilla have travelled to every continent on the globe observing projects of the Rotary Foundation. The countries they have visited include India, Nepal, Peru, Honduras, Costa Rica and, this year, Malawi, Africa. Frank has worked with other Rotarians to develop and implement many matching grants in these countries. In his community, Frank has served on the Board of Education, Planning Commission, and 14 years as a member of the Town Council. Frank was a Special Educaiton teacher for 10 years before founding Fire Control Service Co., Inc. in his hometown of New Milford where he and his wife Priscilla raised their two sons, Scott and Todd, and now enjoy their grandchildren Ashley and Tylor. Rtn. Subhash joined Rotary in early 80's and has been an active member since then. He is a Past District Governor of RI Dist.3131 (earlier 3130) having extensive knowledge on Rotary and is closely associated with Rotary Leadership Institute. He is Secretary & Extension chair at Rotary Leadership Institute-South Asia for the past 8 years

His skills & expertise include - Conducting Leadership Development Courses, Training & Development of Rotarians, International Project Management, Volunteer Management, Non-profits, Strategic Planning, Leadership Development, Coaching, Team Building, Public Speaking, Change Management, Organizational Development, Executive Coaching, Writing, Management Consulting, Team Leadership, Planning, Public Relations, Problem Solving, Event

Management, Social Media, Teaching, Performance Management, Process Engineering, Personal Development, Product Development, Operations Management, Team Management & Administration.

Rtn. Subhash got his BE in Electronics & Telecommunications and went on do Masters in Engineering in Advanced Electronics. He was the CEO at Philips India Limited for more than 19 years and shouldered the responsibility of overall R&D and production management of electronic equipment. He is also the Chairman & Managing Director of Poonitronics India Pvt Ltd.

Rtn. Subhash Saraf

Rtn. Binod Khaitan - is a Past President of Rotary Club of Central Calcutta. He was District Secretary - Projects & Program for Rotary Years 1998/99 & Millennium Year 1999/00. He has been DGSC of RID 3291 for several years, for reason of his knowledge and dedication in furthering programs of TRF, especially Grant Programs. He is the Trustee Secretary of The Eastern India Rotary Welfare Trust, through which RI District - 3291 has set up it's Dream Project – Eye Hospital at Sector V, Salt Lake, Kolkata. He is known for his outstanding work in the Villages of Hooghly District through RI's Program – Rotary Community Corps. Since 2002/03 he is actively involved in spreading Rotary Leadership Institute in South Asia. RLI International Division has appointed him Vice Chairman RLI South Asia Region since 2006/07.

Rtn. Binod joined Rotary in 1988. His wife, Ann Chandrakala & he are Major Donors level III & member of the Bequest Society. All his family members including grand children are PHFs and his son Sakate is a Rotary Foundation Benefactor. He is an enthusiastic propagandist of the Rotary Foundation. He is the recipient of TRF's Distinguished Service & Meritorious Service Awards. He is in the Rotary Global History Fellowship list of Rotary Heros. He has attended seven RI Conventions held at Singapore, San Antonio, Chicago, Copenhagen, Birmingham, New Orleans & Lisbon. He is the first Patron of the 4 Way Test Association in India & the first member of RGHF in Asia.

Rtn.Binod has been associated with the Plywood, Tea, Jute, Fertilizer, Tyre tube and Soft Drink Industries. He has represented these industries in various Trade and Research Associations.

Rtn.Binod is a philanthropist, and is associated with several Charitable Trusts and Organizations. A lover of natural surrounding is a keen Golfer and has represented the country. He was the first National Junior Golf Champion and has been the Chief Referee during the Indian open Golf Championships held at the RCGC.
