ABOUT TOCO TOUCANSToucans are known for their signature style that includes a colorful beak! There are over 40 species of toucansin the world, and the Toco toucan is the largest. The Toco toucan can be found in the rainforests of Central and South America. Toucans live in groups of up to 6 birds and their noisy calls can be heard through the treetops. Both male and female toucanas have large, lightweight beaks. These beaks are used to help them reach fruit on faraway branches. Toucans are omnivores, also eating insects, eggs and even lizards!
