29
he Independence Day of India, which is
celebrated religiously throughout the
Country on the 15th August every year,
holds tremendous ground in the list of national days,
since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new
beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches
of British colonialism of more than 200 years. It was on
15th August 1947 that India was declared independent
from British colonialism, and the reins of control were
handed over to the leaders of the Country. India's
gaining of independence was a tryst with destiny, as the struggle for
freedom was a long and tiresome one, witnessing the sacrifices of many
freedom fighters, who laid down their lives on the line.

COLLOQUIUM
Why did you choose RDC ?
The reason to choose RDC was only because
of my senior, who is a true inspirational
person. He shared all his experience with the
NCC cadets. His experiences inspired me and
turned over my path towards RDC.
What difficulties did you face in the
camp ?
My camp days are one of the wonderful and
unforgettable days in my life time. I too have
faced many difficulties during those days. I did
not get proper sleep which made me to
disturb my mental activities and it was bit
difficult to manage multi activities.
Share some good memories spend
with your co-cadets !
My co-cadets shared their incidents about
their College NCC. They also taught me how
to develop my skills in drill. Me and my co-
cadets were the in charge for the
refreshments. We created many happiest
moments which are still green in my memory.
Tell one incident where your josh
was high ?
During our camp days ,cadets for PM rally and
cadets for Drill have been separated . Only 18
cadets were selected for the Drill I was one
among the 18 cadets ,which made me feel very
happy.
Coimbatore group won first prize in drill
and the overall trophy is also won by
Coimbatore group which made me to feel
happier. The command for the parade
started with “COIMBATORE GROUP
CONTINGENT”, elated my spirit high.
What difference you feel before and
after the camp ?
Before the camp I felt that I have not yet
learned anything, but after the camp I can
feel that I have learned all the necessary
things as a cadet. I am confident now.

When the fires of pride strike me
I satisfy myself a cadet
When the respect serve beneath my star
My shoulder shrug I’m a cadet
When the shinning have no match
My boots ask me,” what is your next step”? When the

They are not the part of nature exists here
They are like us,” The human being”.
But they shed their blood ,bone and flesh as
The trees shed leaves ,flowers and fruits
We the people of India were sheltered by them
But they were sheltered by the seasons
We hide inside an umbrella ,but they make that
Rain as their shelter in that season.
They were gifted a lot to live a life As

They sacrifice of not living a life instead a human For
