Introduction
The Education and Care Services (ECS) department was formed on 1 April 2012 by bringing together:
– Adult and Community Services
– Children and Young People Services
It brought together the service areas for:
– Adults Care
– Children's Social Care
– Education
– Operational housing
with support from joint commissioning, administration, performance management, strategy and finance
