About KVA www.kva.org.uk Established in 1968, Kingston Voluntary Action (KVA) is the local development agency and umbrella organisation for voluntary and community groups. Our main role is to strengthen voluntary and community activity in the Borough. We do this by developing and supporting organisations so they can deliver better services to the local community, particularly those that are disadvantaged. KVA provides advice and support to voluntary and community organisations including: Setting up and developing your group Business planning and mentoring with commercial experts Setting up and developing a website using the free publishing platform Voice Financial and human resource management Fundraising, including online donations from individuals and companies Starting up a social enterprise Capacity building training on a wide range of topics ICT support Volunteering good practice and brokerage Specialist networks and forums to share knowledge across the sector If you need advice and support in any of these areas or on any other
