About Masterclass for Directors
The recent scams have highlighted how critical independent, directors are for protecting shareholder interest. It also showed
investor interest will not be served by simply putting famous names in the boards like decorations on the mantle‐piece.
Corporations need to recruit directors of independent mind, qualified to perform the onerous responsibilities of directorship in
the complex world of today’s business. The financial crisis that has been stalking the markets has heightened the demand for
qualified directors and made the Masterclass for Directors designed by the Institute of Directors India , most relevant for
companies determined to win despite the current crisis. Good news is that the Masterclass for Directors has now been
condensed into a 3 days capsule to enable a larger number of companies and individuals to take advantage of it.

The Awards Secretariat has constituted an Expert Evaluation Committee comprising from various sectors are invited to
