About G20 Green Finance Conference Singapore in 2017 Co-hosted by GFMA, ASIFMA, G20, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), G20 Green Finance Conference Singapore was held in November 2017 in Singapore themed ‘Making Markets Work for Green Finance’. The conference attracted over 200 participants from 100 organizations, including 20% policy maker/public official, 6% buy side, 4% corporate treasurer and 5% media. With over 30 senior speakers from different regulators and market key players, this industry-wide conference has become a significant platform in the region for the industry to build awareness of green finance and also to ensure that industry views are heard so that the green financial system is developed in a way that is workable from a capital markets perspective.
