Mike Druiven at E.C. Drury has attended two of these one week courses during the summer at the University of Toronto. CIT gives teachers the chance to contextualize their own teaching by discovering the University curriculum, hearing from University students about their own high school experiences and learning how to teach Object Oriented programming in a fun and relevant manner. Programming and engineering project ideas and teaching methodology are discussed with peers from around the province.
