Tower of LightThe Tower of Light is 150 feet
tall. The tower sounds every
quarter-hour.It is built with Lueders
limestone. (Lueders, Tx is very close to Abilene.)

ACU and Apple ACU was recently named an Apple Distinguished
School. Classes have been designed to use iPads for
learning. Each student must have an iPad . It is required.
Dr. Kent Brantly, ACU Alumnus•Dr. Kent Brantly was working as a physician with Samaritan’s Purse in Liberia when he contracted the deadly Ebola virus. •Since his recovery, he has worked to raise awareness about Ebola.•He was recognized at Time’s Person of the Year in 2014.
