Hope for the Hopeless, Future for the Fatherless

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope

and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

What Is Happening on the Mission Field? Life Changing Week is in the Planning. Trailer Ministry Holiday Club Teams are forming. Three trailer groups are going out.

We are excited that Coastal Community Church is sending a mission team that will be joining trailer ministry groups. Groups of 10 or so will go into the under resourced areas to present Holiday Club (aka VBS) to children in the communities.

Pastor John (Hammanskraal) and Pastor Joshua (KwaMphulanga) may be a part of our family!

The two churches will be hosting their first Trailer Ministry Teams. We pray the relationships will continue to grow following Holiday Club. Each church as a Crèche that we will be able to assist as well.

Renovations and Building Continues.

Rock of Ages— Cement floor is down in new building. Fence is being installed this week. Bore hole for on site water supply end of April. Charity Christian Fellowship- Cement Floor is down in a new room as well as a door to the playground area. Baby toddler room painting and décor are being finished. Furnishings going in soon.

New HIV medical clinic and Church on the Horizon. Abba’s Pride was able to serve as a connection link between several

organizations with the result being a medical HIV clinic and new church site coming to a very under resourced community. More information to come on this endeavor.

Four pastors and leaders stayed with us! We all attended a coaching workshop at Eastside that was presented by Steve

Cloud of Vision Ventures. Our dinner table was full and we were so very blessed! Preparing to launch Grade R (kindergarten) Community Based Classes. Writing a grant proposal for community based

Grade R programs to prepare children from under resourced communities to be school ready. 400 Pairs of Shoes will be Distributed to 200 Children! Thanks to JAM we have the privilege to be the distributors of bless-

ings! Increased number of sites identified. Additional children and families are receiving food, clothing, and personal hygiene

items.

2013 ISSUE #2

A True Story We delivered 30 family food parcels, donated by Midstream College, to Pastor Paul in Hammanskraal. As he was distributing them an elderly lady came up, knelt down in front of him and begged for a parcel. Pastor Paul immediately had her stand. She said she had no food in her home. He told us this touched him so very deeply. He thanked us that he was able to provide in Jesus’ name the very basic of needs...food.

Prayers for the Pastors and their Churches Wisdom in leading their congregations. Stamina as they strive to make Kingdom impact in communities with many needs. Financial provision so that their families will have their needs met. They serve in congregations that are unemployed and un-

der employed thus resulting in little church income. Finances to pay their early childhood center volunteers.

Prayers for our Family Debbie’s laptop was stolen during a workshop. The thief was very professional! Pray for the individual that stole it. Pray for

Debbie as she wrestles with feeling violated and adjusting to this aspect of mission life. Wisdom with so many opportunities and needs before us. That we will continue to be about the Father’s business...not

headed in our own direction. Rebecca and Josiah as they wind down the school year and head to the states for the wedding. Also, their strength and health

as they both recover from typhoid. Michael graduates with his MBA in May. Praying for the job God has for him. James and Kelsey as they lead a team of students to South Africa for trailer ministry. Praise the Father they as a couple are

fully funded. Thank you to all those that supported them. Our parents health. Safety as we travel to the states for the Abba’s Pride Benefit Dinner and Rebecca’s wedding.
