In 4400-4000 BC barbarian Egyptians started to make houses and farms next to the Nile river. They used to farm animals and crops so then they survive in the heat. The animals they used to farm animals like goats and sheep. They where also known for making pottery.

The first stone pyramid was called a step pyramid. The step pyramid was built in a place called Saqqara. The temple was built for the Pharaoh Djoser. It was built by putting flights of steps gradually getting smaller as they went up.

Cleopatra was one of the most famous Pharoahs Ancient Egypt. Cleopatra was well ecucated and spoke many languages including Egyptian. In fact she was the only pharoah in the Ptolemaic Period that could speak Egyptian at all. She also married here Step brother, Julias Ceaser and Mark Antony.
