National Dance ProjectSupporting artists and nonprofit organizations in the creation and touring of contemporary dance.

Native ArtsSupporting Native American artists and Native-led nonprofit organizations of New England through grant making and network development.

Through Center Stage, which is a groundbreaking cultural diplomacy initiative of the U.S. Department of State. NEFA toured 10 ensembles from Haiti, Indonesia, and Pakistan across 49 American communities, reaching more than 63,000 people in 27 states and Washington, DC.Sharing the Human Experience and allowing people to connect with each other is one of the many goals of the NEFA.

Energizing Communities The power of the live performance and the in-person exchange propel NEFAs work. NEFA convened more than 240 leaders from across New England for the Creative Communities Exchange. Idea Swap is another event designed to share ideas and network amongst leaders in arts organizations.
