1. To obtain the formula for the lateral surface area of a right circular cylinder through an activity.

2. To draw a graph of linear equation in two variables.

3. To verify that the diagonals of the parallelogram bisect each other, using triangle cut outs.

4. To show that the parallelograms on the same base and between the same parallel lines have the same area, using the method of paper cutting and pasting.

5. To verify that the angle subtended by an arc of a circle at the centre is double the angle subtended by it on the remaining part of the circle by paper cutting and pasting.
