Recommendations:

The Committee recommended the Import and Export (Control) Department to co-ordinate

with the Department of Motor Traffic and other related institutions to find out the feasibility

of setting up Safety Measures / Standards related to the Three-wheelers in order to safeguard

the Three-wheeler drivers and users.

Report:

The Committee, after consideration, agreed to the above Regulations and Annual Reports, and

decided that the Report of the Committee, be presented to Parliament by the Hon. Harshana

Rajakaruna, Chairman of the Committee on 10 October 2018.
