About Us
Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat, KCG Established by the Department of Education, Government of Gujarat. It is a
Government Agency which aims to strengthen the Education system across Gujarat State. We believe in knowledge
sharing and creating knowledge interfaces and platforms with collaborations and tie ups with educational institutes
worldwide. Sharing Knowledge is one of the key area where we are not only educating and evaluating institutes but also
guiding appropriate measures to maintain the quality. Quality assurance is the part of Knowledge based Society where
the team is emphasizing on assessing the educational institutes and appropriately grading them under AAA– G,
Academic and Administrative Audit. The initiative was taken by Government of Gujarat under AAA at KCG to
strengthen the existing educational system. AAA-G also enhancing the capability of educational institutes across
Gujarat State which not only helping the institutes to work effectively but also to fulfil the existed gap.

Our Vision
AAA-G envisions to transform higher education system across Gujarat State. It also
aims to strengthen the existing system of Education through quality assurance. AAA-G
wishes to see all the higher educational Institutions to get recognised with quality and
excellence. AAA-G is ensuring all the higher educational institutions to be assessed and
Accreditated through quality control process under University Grants Commission Act,
1956 (Mandatary Assessment and Accreditation of higher Educational Institutions),
Regulation, 2012

Our Mission
AAA-G assures the quality in higher education. AAA-G is an inclusive
process which involves academicians and professionals in education field to
become the part of assessment team. AAA-G believes in enabling
stakeholders to make informed choices in maintaining quality of education
imparted by the Higher Educational Institutions. AAA-G also holds to
achieve effective governance mechanisms in their Management and
Administration.

Director’s Message
“India is facing challenges in today’s global and highly competitive world and we have to
ensure that our educational institute are ready for it”
AAA-G aims to strengthen the higher Educational Institution by ensuring quality through
Assessment and Accreditation. AAA-G provides a simple solution to Assess and Accreditation
Institute through its flexible yet affective Assessment approach. AAA-G not only assess
educational institution of higher education but also certify them. AAA has been carried out
by Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG) and is known for institutional accreditation. KCG is
a Government Agency. AAA-G provides a common platform not only for institute but also to
the universities to get Assessed and Accredited by a Government Agency, under Education
department. We aim to target the educational institutes across the nation.
Gujarat is the first State to take this initiative of transforming educational system and State
is actively working on that by a Government Agency, Knowlwedge Consortium of Gujarat

AAA-G Team
AAA team comprises of academicians and the professionals in the education field. We have
professionals and experts in diversified fields available at KCG who have completed their post-
graduation from the premiere institutes in India. We also encourage retired professionals and
experts in education field to be a part of Assessment Team. KCG also invites and provides
opportunity to the Senior/Retired Professors/Ex-Vice chancellors /Associate Professors/ Sr.
Assistant Professors of accredited Universities and Principals/ Retired Principals/Associate
Professor/ Sr. Assistant Professors of accredited Colleges to participate in the assessment process.

the grades criterionwise of all the key aspects under each &
every category, which helps Higher Education Institutions to
understand their Strenghths and Weaknesses. This not only
encourages them but also make them understand about their

decisions and also guides them to identify area to be focused

Team invloves fourteen members which comprises of Ex-vice-chacellor,
Heads from various departments, academicians and post graduates
experts at KCG from various States.
AAA Team is going to target Gujarat University, Ahmedabad in the
month of November 2014
