Three main site compounds (for storage, office, parking, etc.) will be set up near Styal road, Chester Road and Buxton Road. Detailed views of these can be seen on the drawings Appendix H – Styal Road Compound, Appendix H – Chester Road Compound, and Appendix H – Buxton Road Compound. Offices and welfare facilities Site offices are to be set up within the three main compound areas with a pedestrian crossing facility to be provided close to the Buxton Road compound for safe access to construction works. Each office will provide both working space and welfare amenities. Further facilities will also be provided for fuel storage, laboratory testing, first aid, and changing rooms in the main compound at Chester Road. In more remote areas of the construction works portable welfare facilities will be provided as required. Parking Car parking locations are indicatively shown on the plan with main parking areas to be found at the three main office site compounds. Additional parking areas have been identified to provide for access to structures during construction along the route which can be found near Wilmslow Road/A555 junction, Dairy House Lane, Woodford Road Bramhall/A555 junction, Woodford Road Poynton, and Macclesfield Road. Parking facilities have been identified within close proximity of the construction works wherever possible, with any pedestrian routes from the parking to work sites being identified on the drawing. Where parking is not available close to the new structures it is proposed that transportation (works bus) from identified parking sites will be provided for contractors to access the works. Haul routes Haul routes for construction and delivery vehicles are shown for both non-public and public roads with additional vehicular access to structures also shown. At any intersection between a haul route on a non-public road and a public road there will be a wheel wash provided to minimise the deposit of extraneous matter onto the public road. Controlled crossings for plant will be provided at Styal Road and Macclesfield Road. Cranes Indicative details of cranes to be used at the structures throughout the site can be seen on in the structures key opposite. In addition, it will also be necessary for an 80 tonne mobile support crane to be used at each of the bridge structures. Compounds

Storage compound areas are shown on the plan in strategic locations to assist with the transfer of materials throughout the job with adequate provision for loading, unloading and storage of

materials and equipment within these areas. Three main site compounds (for storage, office, parking, etc.) will be set up near Styal road, Chester Road and Buxton Road. Detailed views of

these can be seen on the drawings Appendix H – Styal Road Compound, Appendix H – Chester Road Compound, and Appendix H – Buxton Road Compound.

Offices and welfare facilities

Site offices are to be set up within the three main compound areas with a pedestrian crossing facility to be provided close to the Buxton Road compound for safe access to construction works.

Each office will provide both working space and welfare amenities. Further facilities will also be provided for fuel storage, laboratory testing, first aid, and changing rooms in the main

compound at Chester Road. In more remote areas of the construction works portable welfare facilities will be provided as required.

Parking

Car parking locations are indicatively shown on the plan with main parking areas to be found at the three main office site compounds. Additional parking areas have been identified to provide

for access to structures during construction along the route which can be found near Wilmslow Road/A555 junction, Dairy House Lane, Woodford Road Bramhall/A555 junction, Woodford

Road Poynton, and Macclesfield Road. Parking facilities have been identified within close proximity of the construction works wherever possible, with any pedestrian routes from the parking

to work sites being identified on the drawing. Where parking is not available close to the new structures it is proposed that transportation (works bus) from identified parking sites will be

provided for contractors to access the works.

Haul routes

Haul routes for construction and delivery vehicles are shown for both non-public and public roads with additional vehicular access to structures also shown. At any intersection between a haul

route on a non-public road and a public road there will be a wheel wash provided to minimise the deposit of extraneous matter onto the public road. Controlled crossings for plant will be

provided at Styal Road and Macclesfield Road.

Cranes

Indicative details of cranes to be used at the structures throughout the site can be seen on in the structures key opposite. In addition, it will also be necessary for an 80 tonne mobile support

crane to be used at each of the bridge structures. Suggested positions of the main cranes for structures B001, B002, B005, B007, B010A, B014, and B015 are available in more detailed
