Like all A100-L turbochargers, the A160-L enables IMO Tier III NO x emissions compliance at minimized fuel consumption. A160-L turbocharger meets market demands ABB Turbocharging engineers developed the A160-L based on market requirements for small bore two-stroke diesel, dual-fuel and gas engines. It extends and completes the A100-L product portfolio offering a smaller, more compact turbocharger for engine applications of up to 4,300 kW. A160-L design features – High efficiency and high pressure ratios for the reduction of engine fuel oil consumption and engine emissions. – High pressure ratios: up to 5.0 for two-stroke applications. – Exceptionally wide compressor maps. – Long intervals between overhauls (from “drydock” to “drydock”). – Simplified, rapid maintenance. – Meets international marine noise standards. – Endoscopic inspection of internal parts by the ABB Turbocharging global service organization. A160-LThe highest performer for small bore two-stroke engines

The small, highly efficientA160-L turbocharger for modern two-stroke marineengines, completes the A100-Lseries offering operational efficiency and flexibility.

The smallest of the A100-L seriesA160-L is the smallest turbocharger for low-speed two-strokeengines in ABB Turbocharging’s A100-L family. Highly efficientand with a pressure ratio of up to 5.0, it is truly a smart performer. Like all A100-L turbochargers, the A160-L enablesIMO Tier III NOx emissions compliance at minimized fuel consumption.

A160-L turbocharger meets market demandsABB Turbocharging engineers developed the A160-L basedon market requirements for small bore two-stroke diesel,dual-fuel and gas engines. It extends and completes theA100-L product portfolio offering a smaller, more compact turbocharger for engine applications of up to 4,300 kW.

A160-L design features– High efficiency and high pressure ratios for the reduction of

engine fuel oil consumption and engine emissions.– High pressure ratios: up to 5.0 for two-stroke applications.– Exceptionally wide compressor maps.– Long intervals between overhauls

(from “drydock” to “drydock”).– Simplified, rapid maintenance.– Meets international marine noise standards.– Endoscopic inspection of internal parts by the

ABB Turbocharging global service organization.

Options Depending on the model required, A100-L turbochargers areavailable with a range of optional features: – The high pressure ratio allows High Pressure Tuning for

further optimization of engine performance and fuel efficiency.– Noise reduction package.– Turbocharger cut-off package for dual rating applications.
