Say (O Muhammad): Call upon Allah or call upon The

Merciful, whichever you call upon, He has the best

    names.. 17:110

The word Allah in the Quran is the name of an

essence of His 99 beauful names and qualies like

    Merciful, Kind, Knowing...

These qualies and Names are therefore an infra-

structure for human ethics (akhlaq) because in Islam,

the human being is the representave of Allah.

The Prophet (pbuh) has said: Adopt the akhlaq of

    Allah

Any act of giving done out of compassion, love or

    generosity is called sadaqa.

And keep up prayer and pay the zakaa and whatever

good you send before for yourselves, you shall find it

with Allah; surely Allah sees what you do.

    Their physiological, emoonal, and psychological

And your Lord does not deal unjustly with anyone.

    18:49

Adala (jusce) literally means to put everything in its

righul place. Somemes jusce is confused with

equality. Equality is not a condion for jusce. e.g.Jusce in a classroom does not that all the students

are given equal marks; but that marks are given

    according to ability and effort.

Similarly, it would not be jusce if a large oak tree was

given the same roots as that of a small sapling.
