Welcome to Grand Valley State University and theHolton-Hooker Learning and Living Center(HHLC)! HHLC is the newest housing option oncampus, which opened in the Fall of 2016. Featuresinclude: air-conditioning, game room, elevators,classrooms, community bathrooms, a computerlab, basketball court, multiple study spaces, and ishome to Einstein Brother’s Bagels. HHLC alsohouses the First Year Honors College and theHousing and Residence Life Office. The North Campus Front Desk is located insideHHLC. Welcome Bonfire: Monday, August 19, 9pm-11pm, HHLC CourtyardMeet other first year students living on campus at a fun event with free food and lawn games!North Side Block Party: Tuesday, August 20, 9pm-11pm, Kleiner Join all of North Campus for free food and a dance party!Campus Life Night: Sunday, August 25, 6pm-8pm, Parking Lot HLearn about all the student organizations and campus departmental resources GVSU has to offer.Live, Eat, Rec House Party: Thursday, September 19th, 6pm-8pm, South E ApartmentsSouth campus housing tours, pizza, prizes, DJ & dancing, yard gamesNorth Side Block Party,
Helping Hands will be around and will help bring items to your room from 9am-6pm.Please help them by putting your name on every create, tote, box, etc.! No command strips will be allowed on the walls of Holton-Hooker. Please bring pushpins(thumb tacks) to hang up posters, cork boards, etc. Make sure your Student ID Card is easily accessible! You will need that for check in! Please note that there are no trash rooms located inside of the buidling, all trash must beplaced in the dumpsters outside! There will be lockers in each community bathroom, so be sure bring a lock!
