2. IntroductionPresented here are my favorite pieces from acollection I designed for women ages 21-35. It isa vintage-inspired collection taking influencefrom 1940s elements like romance, glamour, and naivety. I especially looked to movies like The Aviator and designers Marc Jacobs andChristian Dior for a mix of modern and traditional for my design inspiration. 3. Concept Board 4. Outfit#1Black brocadesweater over a white cotton lace camisole. Pairedwith a khaki cotton side cowl drapedskirt and black patent leather platform pumps. 5. OUTFIT#2 Gold rayon, nylon, and spandexblended dress withbandage detailing under ablack cotton cape.Paired with blackpatent leatherpumps. 6. Outfit#3 Black crepe-backsatin pleated dressaccented with lacecrumb-catcher.Paired with black fishnet stockingsand patent-leatherpumps. 7. OUTFIT#4 Red satin pleatedgown with petalcap sleeves accented with cross-shoulder diamondstrap. Paired with red satin pointed toe heels. 8. OUTFIT#5 White silk drapedwedding dress accented with whitefaux fur shoulderwrap-aroundaccessory and netted blusher. 9. WRAP-UP Again, these were just a sample of my mostfavorite glamorous designs. The enchanting styles of the movie stars duringthe first half of the century will forever be myinspiration and muse because I think everywoman should feel and look as stunning asHollywood icons like Greta Garbo, KatharineHepburn, and Judy Garland. 10.
