Have you ever wanted to visit another planet? Well, now is your chance. You are about to take a two week vacation and have been told you can go to any planet in the solar system. You now get to decide which one will be your destination! Which one will you choose?

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to investigate the planets to determine which would be your choice of destinations.

You will be finding out about each planets atmosphere, what each one is made of, its distance from the sun and whatever else you may find necessary to help in your decision.

The WebQuest model is best suited for learners who can navigate the Web on their own and can read the kinds of material commonly found on the Web. We can stretch the format to reach primary-aged learners, developmental English Language Learners and special populations by creating a facilitated WebQuest, one that requires an adult or older peer to drive things.

Use this page to create a script for that facilitator. The facilitator would print this page out and use it to guide their progress through the WebQuest.
