A TRIP TO LONDON One of the most important events in my life, which will remain in my heart forever, was travelling to the British capital two years ago. After leaving Heathrow Airport, I took a taxi to The Kensington Hotel, where I rested for a while as I was exhausted. Then, I decided to spend the rest of the day sightseeing. First, I went to see Buckingham Palace, a beautiful grey old building with a huge balcony at the front. The flag was on top of the Palace, which meant the Queen was there. Next, I was very curious to see The Tower Bridge and The Tower of London with its dark legends. Big Ben, and The London Eye were also on my list and they were really impressive. The following day was dedicated to visiting museums such as Madame Tussauds and The British Museum, both illustrating human culture from two different but equally interesting points of view. On my third day I wanted to get a feel of the real life so I visited Hyde Park, one of the greatest parks in the world, I went to a pub and to the market. I also made some friends as I discovered that not all English people are distant and cold. While boarding the plane the next day I remembered what Samuel Johnson used to say : ‘When a man is tired of London,

A TRIP TO LONDON

One of the most important events in my life, which will remain in my heart forever, was travelling to the British capital two years ago.

While boarding the plane the next day I remembered what Samuel Johnson used to say : ‘When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life.’ I will definitely return to this amazing city as soon as I possibly can.
