A trip to Delhi and Gurugram
(Classes- III to IV)
B.V.B. Vidyashram, K.M. Munshi Marg, Jaipur arranged a tour with 68
students and 7 teachers from 3rd October to 5th October 2019.
The day was very pleasant when we started our journey. We left early in
the morning with lot of enthusiasm on the children’s faces. Our journey
through the bus was filled with laughter and giggles of the children. We
reached Apno Ghar, Gurugram around 11.30 a.m. It was a resort and an
amusement park. We checked in our rooms and gathered around
1.00pm for lunch. All the kids had a fabulous lunch and set for their
exploration. We started from Humayun Tomb. It is a cultural UNESCO
World Heritage Site in India. Then we visited Kutub Minar. The children
were delighted to see Kutub Minar beautifully illuminated. We returned
back to resort that night and had dinner. The kids played among
themselves for some time in the garden.
The next day, the kids were fresh and had their milk. After yummy
breakfast we set out for Madam Tussauds Wax Museum. They all clicked
photographs with famous personalities. After lunch we set out for much
more exploration to Kidzania, Noida. The children were amazed to do
things by themselves. They played the roles of a fire brigade, a pizza
maker and a doctor. They expressed and understood the importance of
each tiny activity that happens in life. They thoroughly enjoyed being a
task performer of the day. We went back to the resort for the night halt.
The next morning we left around nine for the amusement rides. The
children played a number of rides including Columbus, caterpillar ride,
mono cycle and so on. The best part of their enjoyment was dance
competition. Everybody tried their best to showcase their talent. The
kids were completely open to the situation. Our journey back to Jaipur
started in the afternoon. When we enquire children about their trip,
there were really twinkles in their eyes, and told that they would really
miss all the fun if they had not come.
All the teachers felt very happy and contended as the children were safe
and this goes without saying with the arrangements done for our
students. The tour organisers were extremely helpful and open to our
suggestions. This noble attitude of them needs a real appreciation.
