    When externally controlled, they can be interrogated toextract information on the status of the disease but alsomanipulate the malignant cells to affect the diseaseprogression

    Externally Controllable Molecular Communications (ECMC)

    Rationally designed reprograming (therapeutic) bio-nano-machines will interfere with the underlyingbiological environment, form nano-networks, andprovide a revolutionary intervention.

    A hybrid bio-electronic interface with coupled externaland implantable devices will enable communicationchannels integrated into a wireless ECMC network
