WHAT DO WE PLAN TO DO?Refurbish surfaces and repaint the entire room.

Create a free-flowing space with two ?zones?? one for lower school and one for middle school to better suit the differing needs and sizes of students.

Purchase and install ?cloverleaf? tables with project storage for younger students, and adjustable art/activity tables for older ones.

Purchase and install portfolio cabinets, ?tote tray? cabinets, drafting board storage, and stools. Some of this storage will hold various STEAM technology components and ?maker? supplies.

about being able to communicate more fully with Villa parents!?

WHY DO WE NEED THIS?You know the driveway sign has been an important additional and EASY way to communicate with all families, but we don?t have enough room. With the new sign, we?ll have greatly expanded messaging space!

We can do a variety of messaging, e.g., congratulate our winning teams or welcome visiting students by name.

Great aesthetics of a brick ?monument? surrounding the sign will give a more professional first impression for our school.

It?s so efficient: messaging will be created at a laptop rather than than by VPA volunteers manually affixing messages.

WHAT DO WE PLAN TO DO?Backstage: Paint, fix sink and replace toilet, install shelving, fix water damage, add more lighting, and install rear projection system for backlit sets.

Theater: Refinish stage floor, replace side/back curtains, automate the front curtain, build new front stairs, enclose dimmer boxes into locked cabinet, install acoustic treatment on the back wall.

Sound/Lights: Replace sound board, add center speaker at theater front, mount monitor speakers, replace main cabling, and add 20 lavalier microphones (headset type), 4 choir microphones (above) and 3 shotgun microphones (edge of stage and angled toward stage). Convert theater lights to LED.
