internationalization, the teacher is at the forefront

of meeting the challenge of the 21st century.

Innovations abound, millions of information are

made available in the worldwide web and new

ways of learning have emerged.

The teacher is faced with educating the

technology savvy generation whose dependency

on technology can be a blessing or a curse.

Globalization is multifaceted.

It is the process of world shrinkage, of

distances getting shorter, things moving closer.

It is a simplified term of describing the spread

and connectivity of economic and cultural life

all over the world.

REMEMBER!!!There is no area of human activity that is not affected by

globalization.

What is the effect of globalization on Education???

Globalization has greater impact on education.

Because of globalization the way people think, study

and learn have changed tremendously.

It can be seen in the rapid developments of

technology and communication changes within

learning system.

Therefore: Teachers need to master the subject

matter, implement efficient classroom

management strategies and understand learners

in order to maximize learning.

education.

Education which promotes the Knowledge,

Attitudes, and Skills relevant to living responsibility

in a multicultural, independent world.( Fisher &

Hicks,1985)

It develops skills such as critical and creative

thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution and

communication skills.

It promotes values like respect for diversity a

commitment to peace and harmony and empathy

with peoples of the world.

increased the demand for global teacher.
