A Summer Trip to Hill Station "Give me some sunshine, give me some rain"

This year I spent my summer vacation in Kashmir. I went with my parents and friends. We started from Delhi on 1st June. We travelled from Delhi to Jammu by train. We had reserved our berths in advance. We enjoyed the railway journey very much. From Jammu to Srinagar we travelled by bus. The bus passed through many tunnels. The scenery of the mountain enchanted us.

We stayed in a hotel in Sri Nagar. It was cold at night. It was a pleasant change. We forgot all about the heat of Delhi. We used to go to the Dal Lake.

After that we visited Gulmarg. We stayed there for one week. It was very pleasant to watch nature at her best. Snow covered mountain peaks looked majestic. Calmness prevailed everywhere. We visited pahlgaon also. Many tourists stayed there at camps.

We used to climb mountains in the day. We talked to the hill people. We returned to Delhi after spending two weeks in Kashmir. I had such a memorable experience there. I did a lot of shopping for our house and ate a lot of hill fruits. I wish I spend my summer vacation in Kashmir every year.
