INTRODUCTION
The rapid growth & development of ICT changed the reading style of college students
because they are using e – resources through technology as supplementary study materials
with print materials. Normally electronic resources are the electronic study materials
which is available in the online and offline mode with electronic form, video & picture.
such as e- book, e- journal, e- magazine, e- research report, e- newspaper e- newsletter, e-
databases, e- Thesis & Dissertation, CD/ DVD- ROM etc. this resources require
electronic devices for the access like- computer, laptop, palmtop, tablet and mobile etc.

REVIEW OF LITERATURE
A good number of studies available on use of e- resources by College students from india
& abroad. Some relevant literatures are reviewed for the present study are presented
following.
Nisha And P. M. (2013), Study on use of e- journals as a result found that most of the
user aware on use of e- journal and they are not only using them for building & updating
their Knowledge but also for collecting relevant materials for their study and research
purpose.
Kannappanavar and Madhu (2015) as per objective of this paper found that most of the
scientist (92.85%) used their department for electronic resources and also observed that
(60.71%) respondents CeRA, (50%) science Direct and (35.71%) CAB Abstract
Databases frequently used.
Rajender kumar (2016), in his study found that maximum P.G. & U.G. Students aware
and use e- resources of Maharshi Markandeshwar University, Ambala. Further he found
e- resources are more informative and the satisfaction level was not high regarding use of
e- resources of medical students.
Bhat & Ganaie (2016), in his study found that majority of the scientists, research
scholars and Postgraduate Students of Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and
forestry prefer both print & e- information resources. and also found that majority of the
user use I/A e- databases viz. AGRIS , CABI & CeRA. etc.
