A SERMON IN shoes
Do you know that you’re a sermon in shoes?
Preaching to others about love, kindness, and patience, too.
Reaching out to the poor and homeless,
Helping the elderly and refugees with loving kindness.
A SERMON IN SHOES
Linda Mei-Lin KohGC Children’s Ministries
Jesus walked the streets to preach, befriend, and heal;
Showing us that we should follow His love and zeal.
So, let’s walk and talk about His great love,
Preach and teach and live for Him above.
Sharing our food and clothes with the needy,
Cleaning the streets and beaches to keep them tidy.
Singing to cheer the sick and the lonely,
Living out my life as a sermon in shoes!
Remember, you’re always a sermon in shoes!
Walking and talking
Preaching and teaching
Living out the Kingdom tools.

UNSCRAMBLE THE WORDS
ELLEN WHITE’S COUNSELS
“Those who give their lives to Christlike ministry know the meaning of the true happiness. Their
interests and their prayers reach far beyond self. They themselves are growing as they try to help others.”
Ellen G. White, 9 Testimonies, 42
“All your physical and mental and spiritual
powers are God’s gifts. Use them wisely. . . . Let every power of body and mind be used in earnest, willing service for God”.
Ellen G. White, Review and
Herald, May 5, 1903
“The children should be so educated that they will sympathize with the aged and afflicted and will seek to alleviate the sufferings of the poor and distressed.
They should be taught to be diligent in missionary work; and from their earliest years self-denial and
sacrifice for the good of others and the advancement of Christ’s cause should be inculcated, that they may
be laborers together with God.”
Ellen G. White, Adventist Home, 487

1. All around this world of oursAre kids like you and me
Who need to know of Jesus how good life with Him can be
We won’t leave it till we’re grown-ups to share what we’ve been told
Now is the time to tell our friends that Jesus loves them all.
2. There’s so many ways that we can spreadThe good news that we know
We can sing of Jesus love everywhere we goRaise money for the poor and help those
in our neighborhoodsLet His love shine through what we
say and everything we do.
