Components:(1) scanner system, (2) video camera and (3) processing unit
Working principle: a laser scanner generates a laser plane at a constant angle
from the horizontal plane the software gets two consecutive images: first, with the laser
diode on, with a line of laser light that appears on the target and the second image, with the laser diode off
subtracting these two images we get, as a result, only the laser line projected on the subject’s torso
