And we're back again. I decided to hold off on the spare update until I actually have more stuff to update on for them. In the meantime we'll check back in with the main households. It looks like Kiku is about to head off to work.

Kiku: My boss said there was a good chance somebody would be getting a promotion and that there was a high chance it would be me.

Niklaus: Author I've got it!

Niklaus: What? No, I got bored. But I realized I actually want to get a job instead of staying home all day especially since Lara has school now. And I know just what track to enter.

Oh well that could be fun I guess.

Roderich: Son while I'm glad somebody is finally cleaning that pet bed could you maybe let me pass first?

Keeping her promise Lara went to bed after she finished her homework. An hour later her mom came home after being demoted. And then she and Niklaus decided to practice their instruments together.

Oh sorry I just remembered I hadn't asked about how the job hunt was going?

Niklaus: And you couldn't have asked me at a later time?

Eventually the family is able to move on from the loss of Lin Yi and begins planning another headmaster's visit for Lara.

Miku: Well since everybody else is busy I guess I'm in charge of this visit I hope we can pull it off. Oh shoot I forgot to pay the bills again.

Despite the family's uh quirks Lara was admitted into the private school and the headmaster didn't push the subject about the sparkly fish.

Shortly after Kiku got his last skill point and fulfilled his third LTW. His next one is to have 5 top level businesses and I'm too lazy to think of more businesses and run them so I guess this is where his LTW count will end.

Lara: Tag you're it! Bet you can't catch me!

Lara brought this kid home from school and they spent most of the afternoon playing tag in the middle of the road.

Niklaus wanted a hot tub and since the family paid off their loan I figured why not. The werid part was when Roderich and Kiku started discussing blocks.

Shortly afterwards Miku and Niklaus tested out the hot tub themselves in a very different way from their dads.

Niklaus and Miku then headed out to buy their daughter some new clothes as a birthday present. But they decided to have a little fun before leaving.

Niklaus: What on earth? Gah why is this thing acting up? Turn off already! I'll call Mr. Jones in the morning about how to fix this thing that he built.

Kiku: Alright little Clean-Bot let's see if I can't fix you up and then you have to clean this up. Although we do have a butler now so I wonder why he's not doing this.

For some reason Miku was outside in her pyjamas when she discovered she was pregnant again.

After her first day at private school Lara brought home Uladzimir. They were fast friends after a few rough patches.

Elizabeta was already up when Gils woke up the next day so she gets to start his toddler training.

But first breakfast he hasn't had anything to eat since before his birthday last night.

In retrospect learning to walk in the dining room may not have been the best idea there's a lot of obstacles in this room but Gils learned that skill pretty quickly despite that.

I was surprised that Kornélia seemed to be affected the most by Natalia's death. The others mourned her death too but not until after she was already gone Kornélia was already bawling her eyes out when I got there.

With Natalia gone Eli has taken over potty training duty.

Eli: I don't know how mom always managed to be wide awake when she was doing this I'm so sleepy right now.

And then for something completely unexpected that I didn't see coming. These two were already such good friends that the one flirt that occurred between them sent them both into mutual love.

Zimi: Come on Gils it's easy sing with me!

Gils: No. I's sleepy.

Kornélia you're still up?

Kornlia: Oh Author I was just singing to relieve some of the sadness I've been feeling since dad died. It kind of all came back when Natalia died earlier.

I noticed you were really broken up over that.

Kornélia: I was just hoping the boys wouldn't have to lose another grandparent so soon. But I guess we can only hope for the best and take each day as it comes.

Natalia alluded to the fact that there were a lot of broken objects in the house which wasn't completely false. I had the family call a repair man when the stereo broke and learned just how many broken things there were. I think two of the showers and toilets were also broken but I didn't take pictures of him fixing those.

Later that day...

Grim Reaper: Alfred Jones the time has come.

Alfred: But it's Gils' birthday... Can I at least stay and watch him grow up.

Grim Reaper: I'm going to sound like such a jerk but no. If I let you stay it won't be fair to the others.

Don't tear yourself up over this Eli there was nothing you could do. It's cruel and horrible but it's a part of life.

Alfred's death dropped Gils into the red but after some tickling and stories from Kornélia he was more than ready to grow up and have cake.

Poor Eli was still broken up over Alfred's death and cried through most of Gils' transition. Eli honey I think it's best if you go to bed now.

Eli: Y-you're right Author. I'm sorry everybody but I really need to go lie down I'll see you in the morning.

The family wanted to get another pet since Valeria took Nutmeg back but couldn't decide on a puppy or a kitten. So they got both! The puppy is Biscuit and the kitten is Midnight.

Now that the new pets are settled it's time for Zimi's birthday. It's a pity he and Gils didn't have more time as kids together but that's the way their birthdays fall.

Over in the Laurinaitis-Vargas household Rosa continues working on her third novel while Ludwig works on yet another LTW. Feli is also close by reading about lifetime happiness on the couch behind them.

In the next room Dovydas is working on teaching Bonkers some skills he'll need for his next promotion.

Rosa: Yes. By the way please call me if the phone rings I want to check up on the twins.

Dovydas: Oh I didn't realize you were there Rosa. Yes it was your publisher, your book is selling really well and they've sent over a copy for you to have.

Sadly the success of Rosa's latest novel was overshadowed by Ludwig's death.

Despite the painless way in which he left the family (including Bonkers) were distraught by his passing.

After arrangements are made for Ludwig's grave to be moved to the graveyard Rose sits down at the computer to email her boss and tell them she'll be taking a few days off of work.

Meanwhile Feli has been uncharacteristically quiet as he prepares dinner for the family.

Rosa and Dovydas ended up carrying most of the dinner conversation with Feli supplying it with a comment every now and then.

And then something that I didn't see coming happened. Dovydas brought up the subject of marriage.

Rosa: Oh Dovydas I know you're not serious you're a romance sim after all.

Dovydas: Rosa aspiration isn't everything. Besides when was the last time I rolled a want for somebody besides you?

Rosa: What do you think dad...dad are you okay?

Felli: I'm fine Rosa I'm just tired...I'll see the two of you in the morning.

Rosa: Okay... well sleep well dad.

The next day the family decided to start their own garden in the greenhouse and spent the next few days planting tomatoes and watering them.

I may have forgotten about Pigolio again...I went to check on him but the cage is empty so I assume the butler cleaned it and did whatever sims do with dead womrats. Caged pets tend to slip my mind a lot so I don't think I'll be buying them another womrat anytime soon.

Today is the twins' birthday, Feli took off early from work so he could be there for their transitions. While waiting for the cake to arrive he chats with Dovydas and they tell a few jokes.

Feli: Hello Ieva are you ready for your birthday?

Dovydas: I'm going to go check if the cakes are here yet. What time were they supposed to arrive?

Feli: Alright my coworker said they'd drop them off around six.

Dovydas: Hmm well it's 6:30...

What's wrong Dovydas?

Dovydas: Isn't this a lot of candles for Ieva and Lucas.

Yeah but we'll just remove the extras before we light them and save them for another birthday.

Dovydas: Well alright.

First up is Ieva with Feli getting to toss her into toddlerhood.

Feli quickly gives Ieva a bottle as Dovydas gets the cake lit for Lucas' birthday.

And now it's Lucas' turn to be tossed into toddlerhood. For a brief moment Rosa thinks about how Ludwig died before getting to see the twins become toddlers but quickly replaces her sadness with a smile.

And here's Lucas!---Sidenote: The game crashed before I could save it so I had to replay the twins' birthday so the outfits they'll be wearing after this slide will be different. Not that it really matters since they'll be wearing pyjamas most of the time.

The twins are just are adorable and after they've had their hair changed (again) and have been fed it's time to start toddler training.

Rosa: Dad there's leftover cake downstairs if you want some later.

Feli: Alright thank you Rosa. Okay Ieva I'm going to let go of your hands and you just have to walk to grandpa.

Since Feli has already started teaching Ieva Rosa tries to coax Lucas into walking as well.

Lucas woke up first and was screaming for a bit before sitting down and playing with his hands which is what he was doing when Ieva woke up and screamed for an hour before somebody let them out.

Lucas: Dada more peek aboo!

Dovydas: More peek-a-boo? How about we teach you to walk?

Lucas: No! Peek aboo!

Dovydas: Alright but then we're teaching you to walk.

Rosa joins them in the nursery to teach Ieva to walk while Dovydas teaches Lucas. They let Feli sleep in since he was up late helping the twins.

The twins learn to walk just a few minutes apart from one another.

Feli somehow ended up with the late night/early morning shift of taking care of the twins. Not that he minds he loves them and it doesn't matter when he gets to see them.

Lucas: Gwanpa?

Feli: Yes Lucas?

Lucas: You taww.

Feli: I'm not that tall Lucas.

Lucas: Taww!

Feli: Okay Lucas can you say Lucas please listen to grandpa.

Ieva is proving to be the more finicky of the twins she's always cranky and low on fun. Also the butler photobombed this photo I fired him shortly after because he kept trying to feed the twins while I was trying to teach them.

Now both twins have taken to screaming when they wake up. Bonkers doesn't appreciate it but can't do anything to make them stop.

Speaking on Bonkers he came home early one day before being fed at work resulting in pet services taking him away.

So we adopted him back because Bonkers is as much a part of this family as everybody else.

With Bonkers back the family continues with the seemingly endless task of teaching Lucas and Ieva their skills. Lucas has almost learned them all but Ieva still refuses to learn unless she plays with the toys first.

Feli: Come on Ieva say rabbit.

Ieva: No!

Feli: Aw Ieva Lucas said rabbit.

Ieva: No!

Lucas has completed his toddler training but Ieva is still pretty adamant about not doing it.

These two get a rare moment alone while the twins are resting before it's back to teaching them. Rosa's also gone back to work now since Dovydas and Feli insisted that they can take care of the twins for a few hours while she's gone.

It's getting close to the twins' birthday again! Ieva just has a little ways to go before learning the nursery rhyme and then she'll have learned everything there is to know.

Unfortunately my game is a jerk and the same day the twins are due to grow up is also the day Feli dies.

Grim Reaper: Feliciano Vargas long time no see!

Feli: Grim Reaper? Wait does this mean I'm dying?

Grim Reaper: Sadly yes but look on the bright side you get this tiki drink and you get to spend eternity with Ludwig if that's what you want.

Feli: Of course that's what I want but the twins birthd-

Grim Reaper: I wish I could let you stay but the office says it's your time.

Feli: Okay I'll go...

Grim Reaper: Thank goodness I thought it would be much harder to convince you.

Feli: Well I do miss Ludwig. I can't wait to tell him how big Ieva and Lucas have gotten since he saw them.

Grim Reaper: I'm sure he'll love to hear about it. Come along now.

Feli is survived by Rosa Vargas (daughter), Lucas Vargas (grandson) and Ieva Vargas (granddaughter).

The twins were in the nursery when Feli died but even they knew that something was wrong when it happened. Why else would their parents run out of the room so suddenly?

Rosa: He's gone...

Dovydas: Rosa it's okay he's with Ludwig now.

Rosa: I know...but is it selfish to wish he could have stayed a little longer?

Dovydas: No it's not. Our parents may be gone but we still have each other and Ieva and Lucas. We'll just have to learn to continue living without them.

Rosa: I know...

Rosa: Thank you Dovydas that helped a lot. Well I guess we should go help the twins with their birthday.

Dovydas: Wait Rosa.

Rosa: What is it?

Dovydas: Just stay here a moment.

Rosa: Oh my plumbob. Dovydas this is no time for jokes!

Dovydas: I'm not joking Rosa. I understand these aren't the best circumstances and truth be told I was planning to do this in a big fancy restaurant but I feel like now is the best time to do it. So Rosa Vargas will you marry me?

Rosa: ...

Dovydas: Rosa?

Rosa: Dovydas stand up I need to ask you something before I answer you.

Dovydas: What is it?

Rosa: Are you sure about this? If we get married there's no going back. I don't want to do this if you're going to regret it in the future.

Dovydas: I won't regret it I swear Rosa.

Rosa: Well then yes I'll marry you.

Now all we have to do is figure out surnames.

Rosa and Dovydas: GO AWAY AUTHOR!

Fine, fine I can see I'm not wanted I'll leave you guys alone for a while.

Ieva got to go first last time so this time Lucas gets to have his birthday first.

Lucas: Cool! I can actually run around now! *yawn* Well maybe later I'm sleepy right now.

Rosa (off-screen): Your room should be ready Lucas if you want to go to sleep.

Lucas: What about Ieva?

Rosa: If you're sleepy that's alright I'm sure she won't mind.

Lucas: Alright. Goodnight mom and dad!

Ieva was too tired to have her birthday so she got a short nap before having her birthday. Rosa and Dovydas took this chance to change clothes and grab a quick bite to eat Anyways let's get to it.

Like her brother she's still cute.

Ieva: And tired!

Right well then I'll take your photos when you wake up.

Dovydas: We made it Rosa we managed to raise twins to childhood.

Rosa: Mmm but there's still a way to go with raising them.

Dovydas: Yes but I'm pretty sure that was the hard part.

Rosa: Don't jinx it Dovydas we don't know what happens next.

Ieva: And then the mommy sim and the daddy sim went to the kitchen to make breakfast.

Yao: Bad? I don't mind helping them although I wish they at least knew the simplest things.

Francis: Thank you I figured a painting of something from my country would bring in a good sum of money.

Francis: Sadly yes the interest on our mortgage keeps kicking it higher so if this painting will help us then I'll sell it.

Yao: I was thinking a small statue would look nice by the fireplace.

Sorry to interrupt Yao but André your phone is ringing.

André: Sorry I'll just be a moment. (Into phone) Hello? Oh hi Eleanor- wait what? Really alright well I'll pop by the business then.

Francis: Who was that?

André: Eleanor apparently Maria called her because business is getting better in Meladawn Hills so I said I'd visit the business.

Francis: I'll go with you just let me get changed.

The first customer at the reopening of Bonnefoy Books and Bistro is Gabriel Green.

André: Didn't you slap my dad for spying on you when he and dad first moved in.

Gabriel: Is that all you guys know me as; the town slapper?

André: Pretty much yeah. Would you like to see our selection of pastries?

I don't know why it didn't occur to me sooner that to have customers sit down and eat I would need a host booth. I've added one now so customers can actually eat here.

Francis: Hello I'm Francis and I'll be you oh it's you. What do you want?

Gabriel: I feel like I'm not wanted here maybe I should leave.

Francis: Don't be silly it's not like we hold a grudge after all these years. Would you like some gelatin.

Gabriel: Did you spit in it?

Francis: Do you want me to?

André: Excuse me sir that back room is employees only.

Reviewer: Your business sucks.

André: Excuse me?

Reviewer: I said your business sucks and I'm going to make sure everybody knows it.

Wow man they've only been open 2 hours and you hate them already.

Francis: Those damn evil witches you'd think they'd leave us alone since Arthur was a witch but no they have to come around and summon roaches all the time.

André: Miss you can't be back here.

Lady: I just wanted to give you this tip for the meal I just had.

André: Oh thank you. Wait how'd you get back here the door is locked?

Lady: Well I'll be back again soon the food here is delicious.

Francis: You know André you should think about selling ice cream here I'm sure the customers would love it.

André: Wait dad so you're not mad about the changes I've made?

Francis: Why would I be mad? The business is doing better than before so you're doing something right. Now if only we could get people to go into your father's library.

I send them home and I find Huan primping at the table, I didn't even know they could do that while sitting.

Huan: Author does my face look puffier to you?

Hmm? No why do you ask?

Huan: I feel like it's puffier. Maybe it's just my imagination...

André has been writing a lot of restaurant guides and despite rarely visiting restaurants they seem to be selling pretty well.

Huan: And that is why jewelry shouldn't eugh I don't feel so good all of a sudden.

It's not noticeable with her outfit but Huan is pregnant.

Huan: Is that why my face feels puffier?

Maybe but it doesn't look puffier.

Huan: Hey dad where is everybody going?

Yao: We're headed back to the bistro.

Huan: Oh should I come too then?

Yao: It would probably be better if you stayed here we don't know how busy it'll be and you shouldn't stress out while you're pregnant.

Huan: Well okay I guess I'll find something productive to do here.

Four sims means work can be divided up better although they each have to juggle two or three jobs at a time depending on the volume of customers.

Francis: Alright sir here's your soup.

Man: Weren't you also the host?

Francis: Yes. It's a family business I'm also the cook, cashier, restocker and sales person.

Man: I see sounds quite hectic.

Francis: Not really. Anyways enjoy your soup.

The second visit was shorter than the first. Francis and André take care of closing up shop while Ivan and Yao congratulate each other on making it through the whole thing without collapsing.

Back at the house André found a representative of the culinary secret lot waiting to give him a plaque.

While they were gone Huan took it upon herself to clean the rest of the house.

Huan: Everybody else is using the objects that make money it was this or bake a bunch of things.

Hmm well then I have an idea.

I bought her a flower station so she could work on making products for her family's business and then she decided to pop into her next trimester of pregnancy.

Nothing else of importance happened during the rest of her pregnancy she played with the cat and did some painting on the second easel the family purchased but that was about it.

Skipping ahead to Huan going into labour.

Huan: ANDRÉ! GET YOUR BUTT UP HERE THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!

André your wife is calling you.

André: I know I heard her from downstairs. Where is she?

In your room.

André: Kay thanks.

André: Do you need anything?

Huan: Promise if you want another kid to have it yourself.

André: How?

Huan: I don't know! GAH THIS HURTS!

It's a girl! This is Elena Bonnefoy she has her mother's black hair and her father's blue eyes.

André: Are you guys okay? Do you need a doctor?

Ivan: I'm fine just reliving my own experiences with childbirth.

Francis: Remembering how thankful I am that your father carried you and your sister.

I decided to let everybody have a chance at holding Elena and playing with her before putting her down for a nap. Francis got to go first because he was closest and not interacting with anybody.

Yao went next and Elena threw up on him, he handed her to Ivan who did the same thing but did not receive and baby vomit.

Since André was last he also got tasked wit feeding her a bottle and making sure she fell asleep.

I fully expected somebody to die today I just didn't want it to happen. And I knew it would be Francis when he stopped painting on his own.

Grim Reaper: Francis Bonnefoy come with me.

Francis: Uhm you have a really boney hand no.

Grim Reaper: If I give you this tiki drink and tell you Arthur said he misses you will you come?

Francis: Hmm did Arthur really say that?

Grim Reaper: I might be paraphrasing.

Francis: I'll take it anyway I've missed that black sheep more than I thought I would.

Ivan was outside and didn't make it into the house in time but the other three members of the family were devastated over Francis' passing. And yes Yao is standing in the piano.

Francis Bonnefoy – 79 days old, Romance/Family

Francis is survived by Eleanor Schehl (daughter), André Bonnefoy, and Elena Bonnefoy (granddaughter).

I'm very surprised Francis didn't try romancing anybody after Arthur died maybe it was just his family side stopping him but I like to think he didn't want to romance anybody else.

Huan left pretty quickly after Grim left I don't think she likes being around death too much but Yao continued crying even after André stopped.

Yao was still torn up over the death hours later so in a really lame attempt to cheer him up I let him retire from his job. It worked for a little bit.

André aren't you supposed to be going to work?

André: I can't the fact both my dads are gone is really starting to sink in I don't know if I can concentrate if I go.

Well you have a couple vacation days saved up why don't you take the time off.

André: Thanks Author I guess I'll go back inside then.

He was about to go outside but then this cute wolf named Alabama showed up. André is always rolling wants to see wolves so I let him stay outside and interact with her in hopes she'd show up again another night.

André: Huan I had something I wanted to ask you about.

Huan: What is it?

André: Let's say hypothetically that I became a werewolf...would you be okay with that?

Huan: Hmm...would you destroy all our furniture?

André: Uhm no?

Huan: Would you want me to be one too? Or Elena when she's older.

André: Not if you don't want to no. I just want to know if you're against the idea.

Huan: Then I guess I'd be fine with it as long as you clean up any messes your wolf friends make.

Huan: Oh dad I didn't realize you were up here.

Yao: Are you really okay with it Huan?

Huan: What?

Yao: I overheard you and André talking. Are you really okay with him being a werewolf?

Huan: Well if it's what he wants I don't want to stand in his way. Besides it might be cool if that Gabriel guy tries to slap him as a werewolf.

André: Drink up Elena it's your birthday later and you need a nap before that.

I was really scared we'd lose one of these two before Elena's birthday after what's happened in the other families but 6 o'clock came and passed and they were both still alive.

Ivan gets to bring her to the cake this time around. And in a flash of bright light we say goodbye to baby Elena.

And hello to adorable toddler Elena!

André is the only one who rolled wants to teach Elena anything so while everybody else ate cake he fixed her hair up for her.

A quick nap and some smart milk and Elena was ready to learn some skills. André decided to start with the nursery rhyme which didn't interest her at first but she soon picked it up.

André rolled another want to teach Elena how to talk so after a quick potty break and before the smart milk wore off he managed to teach her that skill as well.

Alabama showed up just after André put Elena in her crib wanting to play. If only wolves were this fluffy and cute in real life.

André even let her come into the house where Elena found her when she woke up. Aren't toddlers hugging animals adorable?---That's all for this chapter the next update will more than likely be a spare update so I should get to work on that.
