Jessilyn and Logan will be married onNov. 23 at the home of Rebecca andRandy Reed, mother and stepfather of thebride.
Special guests attending the party wereRebecca Reed, mother of the bride to be,Karen Kemp, stepmother of the bride tobe, Jane Jones and Jo Kemp grandmothersof the bride. Kathryn Davis of Pittsboro,mother of the groom was unable to attendthe event.

Alpha Theta Chapter participates in on-going projects
Alpha Theta Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International recentlyheld its fall meeting at First Baptist Church. The activities at the meeting includ-
ed several on-going projects. The goal of the organization is to promote professionalgrowth in women educators and excellence in education. In the top photo, right, Debo-rah Welborn and Patsy Atkins display the eight pounds of pop top tabs that were collect-ed to be added to the collection at a local school. Flat Rock class has 35-year reunion
The Flat Rock eighth-grade class of 1974 recently held a 35-year reunion at theFlat Rock Ruritan Club. The group enjoyed good food, fun and fellowship. Car-olyn Hiatt Gentry prepared a slide show with lots of old photos for her class-mates.
