In the natural sciences, students learn in modern acilities using cutting-edge technologies, including a science building with 20

In BIO 110A, students t ravel to the Galpagos Islands and Ecuador to explore one o the most geographically exciting and biologically
diverse places on Earth. Students learn how to gather and analyze ield data, and are provided with opportunities to visit local highlights
such as the Cotopaxi stratovolcano.
In the social sciences, students learn to interpret human behavior by exploring the dynamics o individuals and groups. Each year,
political science students are invited to become interns or The Washington Semester Program. They have the opportunity to intern in

In an entrepreneurship class, students are assigned individual and team projects.
These projects include interviews with entrepreneurs and the development of simple business plans.
Being a teacher is a truly gratifying experience. My goal with students is twofold to teach them legal principles and to demonstrate how the lawpublic policy. Information Sessions and ToursAdmission inormation sessions are held weekdays at 10:15 a.m. and 2 p.m. Each session is
ollowed by a guided campus tour at 11:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. On Saturdays, inormation
sessions begin at 9:30 and 11 a.m., with tours at 10:30 a.m. and noon. There are 9:30 a.m.

Financing Your EducationHostra is dedicated to providing scholarship support or deserv ing
transer students. For 2010-2011, Hostra awarded more than $68.5 m
