    Company was not actingethically toward employeesas they didnt created anyoccupational structure that

    fairly and equitably rewarded employees fortheir contributions.

    According to International law of Labourwelfare maximum work time is 8 hoursbut here we see that the employees were

    working for 14 hours .

    Health and safety at work, security and

    fair pay all were missing which are basicethics in a business. Working conditionwas poor. Drinking water was polluted.Sanitary conditions were unhygienic.

    The prime responsibility of any ethicsagainst his employees is to pay on timeand pay fair rates for the work done. But

    here we see that in spite of working till 2a.m. at night employees cannot demandany increment in salary.

    Moreover they were treated like captivesand kept in boundaries and were notallowed to move out of the boundary.

    TO BE IMPLEMENTED???

    They were actually abiding by the laws but the point thathas to be noted here is that the laws were not correct thatcould be implemented .

    Rules as perworking conditionsare concerned.

    Shadow contract- In this case the employees must abideby the contract. But the contract that rises is that is justified as per business ethics & social ethics areconcerned.

    SEEING THIS???

    Yes, as an employee it would really be on the worseside if organisations perform such unethical

    practices.

    Moreover, the basic ethics of treating the

    employees were missing as they were cheatingthem in the name of justification of the law.

    It took almost 16 years to implement thelaw.

    But the damage could not be outdone.Prostitution , Poverty still prevails onthe streets.

    Today people are more than willing tosell off their kidneys and back to theMainland China.
