The Ghost Writer Prop requires as a minimum - A Photo Editor

A Photo Editor such as Photoshop is recommended in order to use it’s layering abilities.

The Following pages will demonstrate the use of this as an editor. It by no means limits users to the current Photoshop.as I personally use one of the older versions available for most of my primary photo operations in iClone (Elements 7).

Using the provided Materials and Images as a guide, you can copy and paste text as an image, or use the layerediting features of your photo editor to update the text within the Notebook Page layer of the prop.

Everything needed is provided to allow users to create their own document.

In addition to the Ghost Writer Prop there is included a Soft Cloth Ghost and a Quill Pen and Hand Prop. Use theseas needed for your production. Both props are self sustaining, meaning they will work without additional changesfrom you.

The Soft Cloth Ghost will simple move if transforms are applied to it. It may come in handy, and thetexture can be edited as seen in the demo video. The Soft Cloth Ghost can also be Attached or linked to a characterand have them walk around moving the ghost. Make the Character invisible, while maintaining the visibility of theSoft Cloth Ghost and you can have it walk around using the character as a Puppet Master of sorts.

There is only one Command that functions for the Base Ghost Writer: “GHOST WRITE NOW”

Once the Blend Map is launched… Use as an Overlay in the Photo Editor and reduce the opacity whileediting text over the Diffuse layer.

Remember to reduce or eliminatethe Lined Overlay if you do not want to seethe lines when iClone has been updated.

The revealer layer was cut on specific linesto facilitate the use of the Blend map, but willtake some texture adjustments to match theBlend Map and Vice-Versa.
