Most products listed in this catalog are available, at our stocking location in Frederick, Maryland. On occasion slow moving items may have to be brought in from our sister company in Germany. All specifications and descriptions are current, as of the time of publication. Productlistings, specifications, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice. Detailed drawings are available on the internet and directly from the company on request.Phoenix Mecano Inc. warrants all its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Phoenix Mecano’s liability under this warranty shall be limited to ninety days after delivery of the product to the original purchaser. Disputed product must be returned to Phoenix Mecano with prepaid transportation charges. After examination by Phoenix Mecano, should the product be found to be defectivewe will repair or replace it from our factory. Any defect is to be determined by accepted testing methods at Phoenix Mecano Inc. Any returned product found to be defective would become the property of Phoenix Mecano, Inc.

Phoenix Mecano Inc. shall not be liable to the purchaser for the cost of repairs, alterations, replacement, or any other expenses (including loss of profits, additional labor costs, or injury to persons or property caused by defective material or parts) incurred by the purchaser, their employees, or agents. One exception would be where Phoenix Mecano had previously authorized such repairs,alterations, or consequential damages.

This warranty shall not apply to products, which have been altered or repaired, except by Phoenix Mecano, Inc., or which have been subjected to misuse, negligence, or accident, including the use or operation of the products while parts are loose, broken, out of order, or damaged by the elements.

This warranty supersedes all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, and of all other obligations or liability on the part of Phoenix Mecano, Inc.RK Rose+Krieger offers standard OEM pricing based on quantity price breaks. For pricing information please contact our RK Rose+Krieger sales staff or your local distributor. Prices are subject to change without notice.1. All returns must be accompanied by an RMA (return merchandise authorization). Please call your inside salesperson for an RMA

number. Invoice or Packing Slip number must accompany return.2. All returns due to customer error must be made within 30 days from the date of the invoice.3. Warranty returns must be made within 90 days from the date of the invoice.4. All returned product must be in resalable condition and in the original carton.5. Off-the-shelf parts, returned due to customer error, are subject to a minimum 15% restocking charge.6. Defective merchandise returns are evaluated on an individual basis.7. Net 30-account status is generally granted to qualified customers with appropriate credit and banking references. Terms of payment are net 30 days. Past due accounts are subject to late payment charge of 1½% per month.C.O.D. orders for product that has value-added operations performed by RK Rose+Krieger require 50% down payment at time of order. The balance will be collected at time of shipment.RK Rose+Krieger accepts American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa, or electronic funds transfers.Payments can be made electronically directly to our bank account. Please contact an Accounts Receivable representative for our bankinginformation.To open a new account, please complete the credit application form in the back of this catalog. Fill out all references for credit contact. Names,addresses and telephone numbers will speed processing of your application. RK Rose+Krieger must have the credit application filled out in writing and signed BY CUSTOMER ONLY. Please allow sufficient processing time.We are required by law to charge and collect Maryland sales tax. If you wish to avoid us charging state sales tax, you must submit a state sales tax exemption certificate annually to RK Rose+Krieger. Sales tax will always be charged unless otherwise indicated.All orders are subject to a minimum order value of $100.00Our products are inspected and carefully packed for shipment. In the event an item is damaged in shipment, you must submit a claim to the carrier within 15 days of delivery. We advise that you unpack and inspect all merchandise immediately upon receiving it. If damage does not become apparent until the shipment is unpacked, keep the shipping carton and make a request within 72 hours for inspection by the carrier’s agent and file a claim with the carrier. Any external evidence of loss or damage must be noted on the freight bill. Failureto do this will result in the carrier refusing to honor the claim. RK Rose+Krieger will not be responsible for shipment damage or lost partsdue to such damage.Items are shipped F.O.B. Frederick, Maryland. All orders are shipped UPS unless the weight prohibits shipment by this method. On heavier shipments we will attempt to ship by the carrier of your choice.All orders to be shipped Air and received by 4 p.m. EST are shipped the same day. All UPS shipments are prepaid and charges added to the invoice, unless otherwise requested.

For heavy shipments, common carrier truck is the most economical. Charges are F.O.B. shipping point and the product is shipped freight prepaid and charges are added to your invoice, unless otherwise requested.1. A “Blanket Purchase Order” is an agreement between two parties, “Seller/Buyer” to purchase a specific quantity of products over a

specified period of time “Not to Exceed 12 Months”.2. Blanket Orders cannot be changed or canceled without 90-day advance written notice. Customer will be responsible for all parts

manufactured for shipment within this 90-day period.3. Blanket Orders canceled for standard items will result in customer being billed back for the difference between the price break of

quantity received, versus total quantity ordered.4. Blanket Orders for modified or special order products must state Non-cancelable/Non-returnable on the Purchase Order.5. All Blanket Orders must have firm ship dates stated on the Purchase Order for every release.

Terms and Conditions


The RK FRAMEWORKS® ALUMINUM LUMBER® system consists ofextruded aluminum beams in different sizes and shapes joined with avariety of connectors. Doors and panels can be added. Feet, wheels,end caps and t-slot covers complete the design.

Here are a few of the advantages that have been designed into RKRose+Krieger beams and connectors.

LOAD TRANSMISSIONSecure, flush-fitting, positive-grip connectors create optimum conditionsfor transmitting loads.

DYNAMIC LOAD ABSORPTIONRK Rose+Krieger offers dynamic load connector which flexes to absorbdynamic loads caused by vibration, and/or temperature changes. Theexclusive RK dynamic load bolt has a tapered neck which flexes at thebeam joints, absorbing vibration. This reduces mechanical stresses tooccur only in the extrusion t-slots.

RIGID DESIGNNo drilling required to install connectors. Beams are not weakened bydrilling or milling to install connectors, as is required with other extrusionsystems.

TWIST FREE Forged RK Hidden Bracket connectors, combined with RK’s exclusiveself-aligning t-slots, lock beams together in a tight, twist-free connection.

FAST ASSEMBLYMost connectors require no machining and special assembly tools.

PORTABLEDesigns can be disassembled and reassembled as needed.

LIGHTWEIGHTInternal hollows extruded into the RK Beams reduce weight without sac-rificing strength.

CLEAN CONNECTIONRK Hidden Bracket Connectors provide an invisible, right angle connec-tion. RK hidden brackets do not interfere with the installation of acces-sories.

ADD-ON CAPABILITYHundreds of inexpensive t-slot connectors and accessories allow easyaddition of parts, beams, fittings, etc. to existing frames.

RK Frameworks® Overview

DUST PROTECTIONOptional plastic snap-in t-slot strips seal beam t-slots against dust.

PRE-FINISHED SURFACEAnodized beam surface is corrosion-resistant, and scratch free. Noadditional surface finishing is required.

CHIP COLLECITONChip collection grooves are designed into RK beams, so there is noclogging during connector installation.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLYComponents can be reused or aluminum can be recycled.

Compared to the above mentioned plastic types, the advantages of the sus-pension joint and its stiffness and simplicity of assembly. Moreover, thepieces can be later slid up without disassembling the fixed profile structure.
