Pre-Literacy:AftersingingourNsong,thechildrenplayedagamewheretheyhadtolookatapictureandseeifitbeganwithanNoraT.Thisgamehelpedwithphonologicalawareness.Pre-Math:Asthechildrenusedcranberries,measuringcupsandwaterinthesensorytable,theydemonstratedanunderstandingofmeasurementusingnon-standardunits.Social/Emotional:TheSeniorsparticipatedinourcommunityoutreacheffortbymakingholidaycardsforBookwallah,anon-profitorganization.ThesecardswillbedistributedtoorphanchildreninIndia.Thisactivityenhancedthesocialskillofcaringforothers.FineMotor: Usingpipecleanersandbeadstocreatepatterns,thechildrenusedsmallmusclesandeye-handcoordination.GrossMotor:Thechildrenincreasedtheirmovementawarenessastheygatheredleavesontheplayground.
