Operating Mode

Current transformers measure AC potential-free.

Current transformers have a defined ratio between primary and secondary current.

Solar-Log™ to calculate the power as follows:

Secundary current Isec is measured with the meter interface of the Solar-Log™

Voltage U is either configured in the Solar-Log™ or

the measured values of the inverters are being used.

Calculation of the power P by the Solar-Log™:

Please use high quality cables:

LIYCY >=0,14mm2 or CAT 5/7 SSTP

Please consider manufacturers‘ requirements concerning UV stability and installation

For long distances, please use cables with a bigger diameter

Please use cable end sleeves for flexible wires

Please twist pairs and shielding

Please wire/cable from left to right

Please wire/cable from bright to dark colors

Wrong cabling = problem #1!

Please work very accurately.
