Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade
In December, Santa had some helper elves in the form of our Chamber’s “Women In Business.” The group participated in a service project as well as collected more funds for future service projects. In December, Women in Business once again partnered with the Christian Women’s Job Corp (CWJC) in Madison to outfit their GED Program graduates with new, professional clothing. This “Dress for Success” program allows the Women In Business to help these ladies forge ahead into the workforce by providing clothing that will be suitable for their new career. Thank you to WIB Members Pam Schultz, Joey Mason, Elceria Skipper, Debbie Massey and Lyn Noland for being the ’personal shopper’ for each of the graduates and helping being their stylist. We give a HUGE thank you to Dillard’s, who partnered with us and gave us an outstanding discount, which allowed us to give these ladies a great start on their professional attire! Women In Business 2016 Chair Elceria Skipper said, “I am so glad our small group can make such as a big difference in this community. I hope more ladies will join us in the new year!” To help replenish their service project coffers, the WIB ladies sold a variety of delicious cookies and brownies in festive bags just in time for Christmas gift giving, at our Christmas Break-fast. The sales that totaled $393 will go to serve more community projects. The Women In Business wish to thank all of you for your support. For their next fundraiser, the Women in Business will be hosting a Wine Bar and a Silent Auction at the Annual Chamber Banquet on January 19. They need DONATIONS for the Silent Auction! Gift Cards, Themed Baskets, Items for Baskets, Etc. Please bring your donations to to the Chamber by January 18.
Tree Lighting Highlights The Chamber hosted the annual Madison Tree Lighting on December 8 around the tree in front of the Madison Public Library. The Chamber wishes to thank the Madison Suburban Utility District and Wm. Massey Electric for helping put up the
decorations, ‘Santa Claus’ James Denning, the Andreotta family for lighting the tree and David Kincaid for being our official photographer.

Can You Buy the
JrROTC Lunch?
Our monthly meetings are fun, informative and a way to connect with one another. Every month dur-ing the school year we are privileged to have the Hunter's Lane JrROTC present the colors and lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. We are also thankful
for our Madison Police Precinct Officers that stay connected with the community.
The Chamber has been showing our appreciation by paying for their meals each month, but now we are asking for YOUR help with this expense. ESCU has already stepped up to pay for the our
Police Officers luncheons for all of 2017!! THANK YOU! Now we need a sponsor for our JrROTC! This is a great opportunity to present your company's name at every luncheon in writing in the program and as a spoken thank you in the announcement. If you would also like to sponsor JrROTC for one month or more, please contact the Chamber. Each month is $50.00. We can consolidate your donations into the President's Club if you are interested. Again, thank you so much for your commitment and investment in the Chamber and the Community.
