• Basic Needs: Required for Survival– Food– Shelter– Clothing

• Wants: Things you would like to have or do.

• Your needs must be satisfied before you’re able to think about anything else.

• Protects you from physical harm.

• You feel both physically and emotional secure.– Feeling safe from threats and danger.
